Future Tours

Off Beat Roads is currently working on establishing bicycle tours in the following countries:

Costa Rica-scheduled for fall 2009/winter 2010

Our enviromental tour and will include starting on the Caribean coast at the Turtle Reserve and finishing on the far coast with a surf lesson. Inbetween we stop to river raft, visit a volcano, butterfly reserve and fly through the tree tops on ropes and ladders in the Cloud Forest.

Bulgaria-scheduled for summer/fall2009

This part of the world is opening up and a refreshing change to the crowds, cheesey tourist traps and high prices of Europe. Same great riding as Europe and lots of beautiful historic buildings. Roads all paved and excellent infrastructure.
Also little known fact--Bulgaria has a wine region and makes some world class wines

Nova Scotia/Newfoundland-Canada -scheduled for summer 2009

Starting on the Cabot Trail we will eventually take the ferry from the coast over to Cornerbrook, Newfoundland and ride up the coast to the amazing Grosmore Natioanl Park. This park is intensely rugged and beautiful. Swear you were in B.C but we have the friendliness of the Newfoundlanders. Passing by fishing villages on the coast, this makes for a beautiful ride. British Columbia - Canada---scheduled for summer 2009

We are trying to decide whether to do the incredible coast or the interior and the fabulous Ice Fields highway area. Check in soon.

China: Xingjiang--The Silk Road

The ancient Silk Road through Xingjiang traverses stunning desolate desert surrounded in the distance by incredible snow capped peaks of which some of them we will wind our way through

Myanmar/Burma

This will be an unforgettable journey to a country of extrordinary golden pagodas and golden dreams
